Over the weekend, the RCFRD Volunteer Academy had their Firefighter 1 burn at the Roanoke Regional Fire/EMS Training Center. Volunteers were given different real-life scenarios and tasked with search and rescue, fire attack, and forcible entry in a live-burn setting, with the help of our career staff.
